Outstanding young students from the Chico area present a mélange of works for piano, voice, and violin. Their instructors are Justin McKay, Dr. Natalya Shkoda, Dr. Chrstine Buckstead and Caroline Fairchild.

The program consists of familiar favorites such as Liszt’s La Campanella, Brahms’ Lullaby and works of Chopin, Bach and Beethoven. Also presented are rarely heard gems and recent compositions: Justin Levitt’s Mansion Rag for piano duet, and Evening (Lullaby) for voice and piano by Natalya Shkoda.

We are joined by the award-winning UniCat Duo: April Smirnoff and CSU, Chico piano professor, Dr. Natalya Shkoda. Miss Smirnoff, a truly versatile young artist, will sing in several languages, and play the piano.
