The Vintage Jazz Quartet is proud to have been asked to play again for the Performing Arts Society. March 13 we will continue paying homage to some of the great jazz artists from back in the day. We will present our versions of compositions by the first genius of be-bop piano, Bud Powell, as well as tunes by Thelonious Monk, Cole Porter, the Modern Jazz Quartet (John Lewis), and several of our new original compositions. We will be assisted by the addition of a special guest, the fine local trumpeter Paul Senn.
