Element 5 Brass presents Brass Unbound, a program that defies genre limitations. Their performance moves seamlessly from early Baroque works like Vivaldi’s Allegro and Sousa marches to complex jazz arrangements and spirited gospel standards. This diverse repertoire showcases the group’s signature power, precision, and versatile ensemble blend.

Sundial Winds

Sundial Winds is a woodwind quintet composed of Shasta Symphony members. The quintet will offer  an eclectic mix of music through the ages from Mozart’s “Overture to the Magic Flute” to a piece composed by our hornist Ezra Costa titled “Voyaging.”  Other selections include Eric Ewazen’s “Cumberland Suite,” composed and dedicated to the Cumberland Quintet who premiered the work in 2004, and Jacques Ibert’s “Trois Pieces Breves.”
